Yeun Wha Cain, 85, of Fort Wayne, Indiana (formerly Chino, California), passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 29, 2025 surrounded by family at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born March 26, 1939 in Kwang-Ju, Korea of the late Kap Rim Chi and Ok Soon Koo. She became a Naturalized Citizen of the United States on February 6, 1984 and retired from Hoover Group, Inc. in Charlotte, Michigan after 12 years of service. She and her husband, James Cain (deceased) ran a convenience store for several years in Ionia, Michigan. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, eating, silly snapchat pictures, storytelling, working outside and daily walks. She was very much loved by her family and will be greatly missed. Yeun is survived by her sister, Yong Cha Smith of Chino, California; nephew, Herbie (Jeanette) Smith; great nephew, Jack of Long Beach, California; niece, Chae Ianni; brother Seo Young Ji; nephew, and niece of Busan, Korea; son, Jerry Morris, Sr.; and grandsons, Jerry (Grace) Morris, Jr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana and James Morris of Centennial, Colorado; daughter, Angel (David) Hanley of New Carlisle, Ohio. Family members will celebrate her life with a Butterfly Release in the Spring.
