Henry Campbell Shaw, III made his final flight home into the arms of his Heavenly Father on August 8, 2019, at the age of 63. He was born April 5, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas. He grew up on the Eastside of Fort Worth where he attended school, K-12. He graduated from Eastern Hills High School in 1974. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Aviation at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1979.
Henry knew from a young age that he wanted to be a pilot. He was very passionate about his career. Henry had a 45 year flight history. He loved every minute in the air. He was employed with Ameristar Jet Charter for the past 20 years.
Henry married the love of his life Sharon Lamb Shaw on December 5, 1981, and they reside in Granbury, Texas for almost 20 years.
Henry is survived by his wife Sharon Shaw; sisters Janice Harper (husband Harvey) and Anita Lyons (husband Pat); nieces Angela Manes, Becky Shirley, Janet Scoggins, Sarah Hays, Christina Che, and Romi Moreno; and nephews Jake Harper, Adam Lyons, Eric Lyons, Terry Hoover, John Hoover, Dustin Hays, Andrew Hays, Joseph Miller, Matthew Cottrell, and Joshua Cottrell. He also had numerous great nieces and nephew. Although Henry never had children he loved and adored all of his nieces and nephews as if they were his own.
He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Catherine Shaw; sister Kathleen Hoover; brother Fred Sample; and nephew Kyle Shirley.

Services will be held Monday, August 12th at 12pm. Visitation an hour prior to service and reception with light hors d’oeuvres and desserts following the burial at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel and Cemetery
