Alberta Rosa Ramos Sides

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alberta Rosa Ramos Sides, who left us on, Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the age of 90 years old. She was a beloved mother and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Born on February 25, 1935 in Grandview, Texas. Alberta Rosa Ramos Sides was the child of Leandro and Vicenta Ramos. Throughout her life, Alberta was known as a seamstress who loved her job. She used to tell us stories of making clothes for Big Tex and how some of the team took a picture in his pocket. She was very proud of her work and always hoped that her children would find a profession that they loved just as much. She retired at the age of 70 years old, retiring from Williamson-Dickie Mfg.Co.

Alberta is survived with deep sorrow by sons, Daniel and David Lee Sides, daughters, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Maria Delores Sides, and sister Lupe Vasquez. Grandchildren, Robin Christine Luna, Jennifer Murrillo, Anthony Barber, Adam Barber, Rachel Marie Reyna, Jose Rodriguez Jr., Krystal Michelle Crawford and Zoe Kuhnen.17 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, and many more family and friends.

Alberta is preceded in death by husband Manuel S. Sides Jr., daughters, Patricia Barber and Gloria Kuhnen and son, Manuel S. Sides III.

The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of Alberta Rosa Ramos Sides’s life on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. viewing to be held at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76134.

The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Alberta Sides’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
