A quiet and thoughtful soul, she found comfort in solitude yet left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her. She was a dedicated student at Prairie View A&M University in Hempstead, Texas, where she pursued her education in veterinary medicine with quiet determination, embracing the journey of knowledge and self-discovery.

Though reserved, she had a kind and gentle spirit that spoke volumes. Her presence was felt in the subtle moments—the warm smile she shared with family, the depth of understanding in her eyes, and the quiet strength she carried through life’s challenges.

Amaya is survived by father , Adrian Barry, Sr. (Stacey), mother, Chrystal Barry, sister, Deaijia LaShay Thomas last name, and brother, Adrian Barry , Jr. , Stepbrother, Trenton Smith, niece Audrey Barry, grandmothers Shirley Thomas, Kathleen Thomas, Jacquelyn Leonard, and grandfather, Willie Thomas who cherish the memories of her gentle nature and unwavering kindness. Her legacy is one of quiet resilience, deep thoughtfulness, and the love she held for those closest to her.
