

Sue was an active member of the community and her church, First Baptist Church of Arlington. She was a mentor to many, a leader in the Arlington Women’s Club, and a Caregiver at heart for many as well.
Sue began Assisted Services in 1994. It was among the first personal assistance agencies in Tarrant County and was a Personal Assistance Service provider for over 25 years. Sue noticed some of her clients needed an advocate and she discovered the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. She became a CSA in 2006 because when she wanted to learn more about the health, financial, social aspects of being an older adult. We have all lost a prayer partner, caregiver, professional caregiver, and mentor for many.
She was a loving daughter, mother, aunt, mentor and friend to many. Family members left behind are son, Duane Wallace and wife, Jaime; her sisters Janice (Coursey) Barrow, Linda (Coursey) Robinson and Deborah (Coursey) Morgan; nieces and nephews Kathy (Robinson) Shannon, Cynthia (Schwartz) Gartman, Misty (Morgan) Good, Brian Morgan and her granddogs, Cassie, Gunner and Ellie. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Eugene (Pete) Coursey and Lois Maxine (Wilhite) Coursey; former husband, Jomance Wallace; nephew Gary Robinson and niece, Karen (Robinson) Smith.
Services will include a viewing at Laurel Land Memorial Park on Thursday, in Fort Worth located at 7100 Crowley Road, on August 29 from 4 to 8 p.m.
