Anne Marie Sowers

Service: Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2016 Willis Lane, Keller. A rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Monday at Shannon Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, with visitation following from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anne may be sent to Susan G. Komen of Tarrant County, P.O. Box 101328, Fort Worth, Texas 76185.

Anne was born Jan. 15, 1960, to Donald and Margaret Whitcomb in Hutchinson, Minn. She was the only daughter and the second of five children. She married her high school sweetheart, Dale, and moved to the DFW area in the '80s where she completed her bachelor of business administration in accounting at UTA. Anne was a loving wife and spent countless hours dedicated to her family.

As a longtime member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Anne was often leading Bible studies, serving the homebound, and caring for the sick and elderly. Her spirit and love for life, family and her Lord never wavered. She touched many lives and was an angel who found joy in being a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Whitcomb.

Survivors: Her husband, Dale; sons, Chris, Bryan and Jason; daughter, Stephanie; parents, Donald and Margaret Whitcomb; brothers, Jim and his wife, Floria Whitcomb, Dave Whitcomb and Tom and his wife, Marcia Whitcomb; and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
