Antonio was born in Angeles City, Philippines, to Francisco and Francisca Santos. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 10 years before continuing his career in Research and Development at Alcon Laboratories. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of coffee and bread, cheering on the Mavericks and Cowboys, and chatting with neighbors and friends far and wide. He took organization to an art form. Every button had its own label, every detail was logged in a spreadsheet, and he possessed the uncanny ability to locate anything in the house–usually right after you insisted it definitely was not there. Antonio shared 40 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Paz Santos, raising 3 successful children.
He is survived by his wife; his son and daughter-in-law Brent and Rachel Santos, and their children, Isabelle, David, and Adeline; his daughters Dawn and Shea Santos; his sisters, Teresita Pugh and Angelita Dickson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Kathy Lynn Pittman, Rafael Santos, and Rosario Santos.
The family invites relatives and friends to pay their respects at Laurel Land Memorial Park at 7100 Crowley Rd in Fort Worth on Tuesday, February 10, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A celebration of Antonio’s life will take place at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church at 3601 Altamesa Blvd in Fort Worth on Wednesday, February 11, at 10 AM, and he will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy in Dallas at 1:30 PM with a reception at the family’s Fort Worth home to follow.
