

Arleta Mae Crockett, age 78, left us to join the angels on March 2, 2026. Arleta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and her presence will be greatly missed by all.
Arleta was born on January 30, 1948, in Nevada, Missouri to Paul and Catharine Stangel. She grew up and worked on the family farm in Papinville, MO.
Arleta was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Leon of 58yrs. Together they built a solid foundation for their family.
Arleta’s life centered around her family and was happiest when surrounded by family gatherings large or small.
Arleta was a fierce supporter of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and spent her life dedicated to enriching their lives by words, thoughts, deeds, and actions.
Arleta was a faithful member of Edge Park United Methodist Church since 1978.
Arleta is survived with deep love by her husband, Leon Crockett of Fort Worth, TX; her children Diane Searle and husband Rob, Christopher Crockett and his wife Pamela; her grandchildren Douglas Levesque and wife Kelsey, Jared Levesque and wife Angelica, Joshua Crockett and wife Elizabeth and Amanda Martinez and husband Estefano and her great grandchildren Madilynn, Donovan, Meridian and Jamisynn Levesque as well as many more family and friends.
Arleta was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Catharine Stangel and her in-laws Claude and Claudine Crockett.
Arleta’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134, on March 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Edge Park United Methodist Church, 5616 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134, on March 14, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Burial will take place in Lamar, Missouri.
