Spencer Funeral Directors, 4000 Miller Avenue, Fort Worth, TX, on March 5, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Celebration Of Her Life will take place at Truevine Missionary Baptist Church, 3732 Miller Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76119, on March 6, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Her Resting Place will be at Skyvue Memorial Gardens, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd., Mansfield, TX 76063, on March 6, 2026.
On February 6, 1951, Belinda Deloise Wade, a beautiful daughter, was born to Lewis James Meeks Sr. and Annie Mae Meeks in Fort Worth, Texas.
Her Faith, Education and Career…
At an early age, Belinda gave her life to Christ at Johnson Chapel A.M.E Church in Lake Como, Texas. She later became a member of Trevine Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
Belinda graduated from Tremble Tech High School in 1968. After high school, she went on to receive her associate's degree in interior Decorating from Tarrant County College.
She had a career at Citran Bus Station, also known as “The T”, for thirty-two years. Belinda loved working for The T. She met and touched the lives of countless people throughout her time there. She also had an immense passion for specializing in drapery, earning the affectionate title “the neighborhood seamstress”. She was also known for her infamous Valentines baskets, party planning, and creative crafting.
Her Family and Legacy…
On October 5, 1973, Belinda married the love of her life, Robert L. Wade, in a beautiful ceremony in Fort Worth, Texas. They were blessed with four children, Robert Wade Jr., Tabitha Rayson, Robin Scott, and Patrick Wade.
She had a deep love for music and family. Music filled her home and her heart, serving as a constant source of joy, comfort, and connection. Whether listening, singing along, or sharing special moments surrounded by her loved ones, Belinda found her greatest happiness in family and pouring love into everyone around her.
Belinda departed this earthly life on Friday, February 20, 2026. The Lord called out to Belinda and said, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Belinda is now reunited with her father and mother, Lewis Meeks Sr. and Annie Meeks, her husband Robert L. Wade, and her brothers, Patrick Meeks and Lewis James Meeks Jr.
Cherishing Her Memory…
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her children: Robert Wade Jr., Tabitha Rayson (Paul), Robin Scott (Jarwin), and Patrick Wade.
Her brother Adair Smith “Red”; her ten grandchildren Brittney Murray-Scott, Eryana Wade, Dashaunda Wade, Lauren Brown, Patrick Wade Jr., Kennedie Wade, Anthony Wade, Parish Wade, Kristy Forbes, Dominique Wade; and a special daughter, LaMeka Calhoun.
In addition to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
