Bettye Ann Chaffin

Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth. Interment: 1:45 p.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel.

Bettye Bayne Chaffin was born Feb. 24, 1932, in Alabama City, Ala., to Clifford Bayne and Jessie Mae Wilbanks. She graduated from Anniston High School in 1950 and married Edward Chaffin in 1952. She had a long career as an interior decorator. She also was a substitute teacher in the Keller ISD, where she was known as "Mrs C." She was best known for her love of family and the Lord. She was a true friend and prayer partner to many. She had a zest for life, fun and her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors; Husband, Ed Chaffin; son, Mike Chaffin; daughters, Donna Harris and husband, David, and Nancy Collins and husband, Ken; brother, Harold Bayne and wife, Frances; and grandchildren, Christin Chaffin, Kyle Chaffin, Nathan Harris, Rachael Harris, Jenny Harris, Landry Collins, Logan Collins and Lainey Collins.
