It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Billie Marie Anderton, who went to be with our Lord on December 28, 2025 at the young age of 83. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Born on July 15, 1942 in Hillsboro, TX, Billie Marie Anderton was the child of William and Marie Medlin. Throughout her life, Billie was known for her sharp wit, love of playing cards, square dancing and decorating her home. She devoted the majority of her time and energy to her family.
Billie is survived with deep sorrow by three daughters; Pam & Alan Kuykendall, Kim & Carl Stafford and Gail Todd, as well as 5 grandsons, 9 great grandchildren and many more family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marie Medlin, her brothers, Gene and James Medlin and her husband, Buddy Anderton.
A visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, located at 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134, on January 2, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A committal service will take place at the same venue on January 3, 2026, beginning at 10:00am.
