Service: 3 pm Tuesday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes in Fort Worth.
Billie was born on January 12, 1926 in Fairy, TX to Jesse and Mittie Cole. He met Beulah Mae Weatherford through mutual friends, Otis and Gladys, and married a short time later. The couple are lifelong residents of Texas and for their honeymoon decided to visit Galveston, since neither of them had been there before. Both Billie and Beulah enjoyed traveling together. The couple celebrated their golden anniversary with a cruise to Alaska. Billie spent his career as an accountant at Textron/Bell Helicopter, retiring after35 years. Later he kept busy with owning and operating Cole Heating & Air Conditioning. After ten years he decided to settle down and spend his time more leisurely.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother.
He leaves his memory with his loving wife of 65 years, Beulah Cole; daughter, Kathy Pope; grandson, Bryan Pilcher; nephew, Barry Cole and wife Liza; aunt, Lucille Avery; cousin, Bob Avery; and his special friends at The Waterford in Fort Worth.
