

Born May 6, 1928 to George and Alva Geron in rural Hood County. Billie was the youngest of 5 children. She spent her childhood in west Texas near Whitharral where her parents were sharecroppers during the Dust Bowel years.
In early 1940s her family moved to Fort Worth, where Billie graduated from R.L. Paschal High School in 1945. Later that year she met and married Bobby Cornelius Muse. Billie and Bob were married for 53 years.
Professionally, Billie worked for Lone Star Gas Company for nearly 35 years as the Executive Secretary to the Superintendent of the service center. She retired in 1991.
Billie and Bob moved to Burleson where she lived from 1973 until 2014. Billie attended the First Baptist Church of Burleson. In 2014 she moved to Southlake.
Billie was a member of the Cleburne Elks Lodge and enjoyed dancing at the many senior citizens dances around Johnson County. Beside dancing hobbies also included: gardening, sewing, crocheting, reading, ancestry research and training her poodles.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Muse, son Robert Eugene Muse, brothers George, Jake and Charles Geron, sister Jaqueline Box, several wonderful sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and friend Tommy Cash.
She is survived by her daughter Tamera Muse Hatcher and her spouse Guy Hatcher, daughter-in-law Cathy Blagg Muse, Grandchildren Rachel and Katherine Hatcher, as well as many nieces, nephews and her faithful dog Sassy.
A visitation for Billie will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Laurel Land FH - Ft Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. A committal service will occur Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park - FW, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134.
