He was born December 18, 1933 in Fort Worth. Bobby graduated from Polytechnic High School. He married Willene Knight on November 17, 1956. Bobby worked in architectural stone with Texas Pre-cast Stone. He was a member of Marystown Baptist Church, and had a passion for baseball and his family.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Willene; children, Dareta McCullers, Darrell, and Daniel Eaves; grandchildren, Jessica Hendrix, Nicole Coursey, Mandy Dennehy, Josie Edwards, Erika Anderson, and Courtney Cole; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Laura Lider; and many nieces and nephews.
