Brooks Brantley Jimenez

A Memorial Service for Brooks will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112.

Brooks was born to James and Jan Brantley July 27, 1964 in Fort Worth, Texas. Throughout her life you could tell she had an eye for fashion, always ahead of her time. Spirited and beautiful, she enjoyed drill team and her friendships at Eastern Hills High School. She continued to grow her passion for design at the University of Texas. Brooks was a fashion designer and at one time she had her own company in Dallas called Miss Brooks.

She was a loving grandmother known as “Muvey.” She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and displaying extravagant displays for both play and especially Christmas. Her flair for design spilled over into all the time spent with her grandchildren making them all feel the joy of the holidays. Muvey was always in the know, checking in on her sons and their families as they continue to grow, learn and travel. Her encouragement will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her parents Jim and Jan Brantley; two Children, Houston and wife Jessica Jimenez and grandsons Harlan and Holten, Hamilton and wife Denise Jimenez and grandchildren Logan and Lily; sister Blair and husband Derek Attaway, nieces Tara and Tate Tillery and the rest of her family and friends.

She wants her ashes to be mixed with pink glitter and scattered under her tree at the family cabin in Colorado. Brooks was a beautiful person with a sweet spirit. She was so proud of her sons and their families.
