North Richland Hills -- Carl J. Dahl, Jr., 62, passed away October 28, 2010. Memorial Service with full military honors wll be on Saturday November 6, 2010 at 3 p.m., at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Carl was born in Prescott, AZ on December 25, 1947. Carl retired from the Army after 22 1/2 years of service. He served in Korea, and 3 years in Vietnam, where he received many honors plus a Purple Heart. Like so many vets in Vietnam, records were destroyed and never found or credited to our soldiers. We will always remember his determination and laughter forever. Surviviors: wife, Linda Dahl of North Richland Hills; daughter, Dana Dahl and husband Lee Taylor of Everman; son, Mark Dahl of California; beautiful granddaughter, Valley Rose Marie Dahl of Ft. Worth; sister, Mary Guthrie of Washington; many nieces and nephews.
