Carlene Reeves

Born on February 25, 1934 in Yoakum, Texas, Carlene was the child of Stonewall Jackson White and Effie Mae Reese White. Throughout her life, Carlene was known for her unwavering faith, dedication to her family, and the strong bonds of friendship. She married the love of her life, Robert Edward Reeves Jr. on November 6, 1950 and they made their own family of 5.

Survived with deep sorrow by three children, Debborah Jane (Greg) Moss, Dana Edward (Penny King) Reeves, Sandra Roof; five grandchildren, Nicole, Jason, Misty, Jacqueline, and Heather; numerous great grandchildren and her older brother, Jack White.

Carlene is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Reeves; parents, Stonewall Jackson and Effie Mae Reese White; and her grandson, Shawn.

The family invites relatives and friends to a visitation at Laurel Land Funeral Home on Sunday, January 5, 2024 from 4pm to 6pm. A funeral service will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home on Monday, January 6, 2024 at 2pm followed by burial at Laurel Land Memorial Park.

The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Carlene’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
