Carma grew up in Dayton Ohio and graduated from high school there. She attended and graduated from Dayton School of Nursing in 1976. On February 14, 1977 she married her husband, Edgel Brown in Fairborn Ohio. Since Mr. Brown was in the Air Force they moved to Hawaii in 1979 and then transferred to Texas in 1983. Carma was a practicing nurse for over 43 years and in the DFW area for 36 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Edgel Brown; sons, Chris and Michael Brown and grandchildren, Anabelle and Matthew.
Carma was most proud of her nursing career, her lifelong friends and of course her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her two precious grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76148.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
