Carmia Helen Bell was born in Jacksonville, Texas on April 28, 1925. Her parents were Waldo Gustavier Tennison and Alice Levaughn Thompson Tennison. She accepted Christ at an early age, was Baptized and United with Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church.
She began her education at New Summerfield School and continued at Fred Douglas High School in Jacksonville, Texas, where she graduated. At the age of twenty, she came to Fort Worth, Texas to live with her Aunt Mae and pursued a career.
Once she settled in Fort Worth, she joined Sunshine Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and remained a devout member, Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member and Representation of Mission until she was unable to attend due to her health.
After several years she finally decided to work for Trimble Technical High School, that was where she wanted to finish out her career. After getting her career on track she met Harry Clifford Bell, and they married. They had a long happy union until his death. There were no children from this union.
Carmia was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 21, 2025. She will be missed so much for her high spirit and witty or humorous remarks. She was a special Lady, full of life in every since of the word.
Even though she had no biological children she had a host of nieces and nephews and adopted extended family and friends that loved her dearly, especially the family around her taking care of her with love in her last days. Our family is so grateful for them.
