

Carol Ann Heath, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Carol's life was a testament to resilience, kindness, and the ponder of love. Born on November 1, 1944, in Fort Worth, Texas to AC and Jenny Lucille Mitchell. Carol's life began in a close knit community where she learned early on the values of faith, family and service. Raised by her loving Uncle and Aunt, Will and Lula Wheatstone, she grew up with a strong foundation of care and compassion. Carol attended Amanda F. McCart Elementary, James E. Gwen Middle School and later graduated from I. M. Terrell High School. She was baptized as a young girl at Friendship Baptist Church under the guidance of Reverend Frank Turner, marking the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith that would sustain her through the years. In 1964 Carol married her lifelong friend and love, Cleo Heath, SR. together they built a family and life full of love and shared dreams. Though Cleo preceded her in death in 1991, his memory remained close to Carol's heart, a constant reminder of their enduring bond. Carol was also a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She leaves behind a large and loving family. She is survived by her siblings: Mara Denton, Zachary Mitchell, Birdie Wilson, Albert Mitchell, Michell Mitchell, Robert Mitchell and Norbert Mitchell. She is preceded in death by her parents, AC Mitchell and Jenny Lucille Mitchell, as well as her brothers and sisters; A.C. Mitchell Willie D. Mitchell, Sally Nolan, John Mitchell and Linda Jo Mitchell. She is also preceded in death by her three sons, Kelly redning, Terry Heath and Cleo Heath, JR. Carol's calling was one the service and care for others. Se pursued a career in a Certified Nurse, Dedicating her life to caring for those in need. She spent many years working at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Fort Worth and later moved to Houston where she continued her career in the nursing field. Sharing her compassionate spirit to every patient she encountered Carol retired in 2008. She lived a blessed full life. Leaving behind a legacy of empathy and warmth that touched countless lives.
Her surviving daughters and son in law-Lula Miller, Tracy Heath, Arotha Heath, Anaso and Lolotha Igbani and Jenny Heath along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, will remember her for her humor, her generosity, and her unshakeable faith. Carol dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spending as much time as possible with them. She found so much joy in their company and they would often sit with her sharing stories, watching TV and simply enjoying each other's presence. Baseball, football games and investigation ID were among her favorite things to watch and she also had fondness for coffee and taking short walks. Though Carol has left this earthly life, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who know and loved her. She taught us the value of kindness, the importance of family and the strength that comes from faith. Her memory will forever be a blessing to us all. As we say goodbye to carol we hold on to the memories she has given us and the love she shared so freely. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and care and for that, we are eternally grateful.
