Caroline S. Mead

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 14th at North Park Baptist Church at 7025 Mid-Cities Blvd., North Richland Hills, Texas with the Pastor Shawn officiating. Burial will follow at Bedias Baptist Cemetery.

Caroline was the first to arrive as a triplet in Houston, Texas born to Kenneth and Trillis Vaughn on April 15, 1957. After serving a short period in the Air Force she went on to graduate from McMurry College with two Associate degrees’ working towards her Bachelor’s. She married the love of her life and her best friend, William ‘Bill’ Mead in 1982, in Abilene Texas. Her partnership with Bill in their small business, Mr. Bill’s Home Maintenance and her Mary Kay brought her much joy but her passion in life was to make the world a more beautiful place. Caroline and Bill were long time members of North Park Baptist Church.

Caroline’s favorite past-time activities included celebrating the holidays, especially Christmas, keeping up with the family tree through Ancestry.com, and watching movies.

Caroline is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Mead, her sister, Cathleen Oelgeschlager, and her father, Kenneth Vaughn.

Caroline is survived by her sons, Chris Parker and wife, Brenda, William ‘David’ Mead Jr. and wife Jessica, and Joseph ‘Joey’ Mead and wife, Christina, her brother Ray Vaughn and wife Cathy, sisters Catherine Vaughn and Cindy Poole and spouse, Brian, her mother Trillis Vaughn, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Tyler and Mathew Parker, Justin, Lanee and Hunter Scott, Kaylee, Noah and Drake Mead and her best friend, Janey Turney among other relatives and friends.
