Carroll Ja'Niece Harris

A Visitation for Carroll will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Funeral Home, 7301 E. Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112, with a Celebration of Life on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at Isham Cemetery, Fort Worth, Texas.

Carroll Ja’Niece Harris was born in Dallas,Texas to Temple & Mable Harris on May 16, 1941. She resigned in Fort Worth, Texas and was raised by her mother & Raymond Bolton. She went to school at John T. White School. She worked as a Florist Designer for many years. She also worked as a gardener for Buzzy's Nursery in Fort Worth.

Niecee was involved in gospel & country music, also loved to sing. She loved to play her accordion from when she was 11 years old to present. She also loved being outdoors with family & friends and going on snowcone runs. Niecee loved going to the Fort Worth Stockyards to watch the Cattle Drive. Her favorite place to go was "one eyed willy" aka Goodwill, and a good chicken fried steak dinner.

Niecee is preceded in death by her parents Mable & Raymond Bolton & Temple Harris, grandmother Mama Jenny, son Clifton Vannoy, sisters Doris Womack, Ruby Hinger and brother Doyle Harris.

She is survived by her sons Preston Vannoy, Homer Isham Jr. (Fujie), daughters Tema Strong, Teresa Cobb & spouse Billy Cobb Jr., her sister Bobbie Bowens of Florida. She also had 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews including cousins.

Pallbearers will be Justin, Tommy and Joshua Strong, Billy Cobb III, Joshua Gilbert, Hunter Hackett, Caiden Johnson, Davy Isham and Terry Adams.
