Mrs. Cassandra Dian Wilson

Cassandra Dian Thomas was born on July 31, 1955 to the proud parents of Foster and Patricia Thomas. She accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at a very young age and was baptized at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Leesville, Louisiana where she served in youth activities and the choirs.

Cassandra graduated from Leesville High School and went on to Grambling State University where she received a B. S. Degree in Accounting. She began her career as an Accountant in the oil and gas industry in Northern California for many years until she was transferred to North Texas where she recently retired.

Cassandra and Chauncy Wilson, were married on December 29, 1975. They were blessed with one daughter, Eilcia L. Wilson, on September 15, 1982. Upon moving to North Texas with her husband and daughter, she became an active member at Beth Eden Baptist Church where she served in the women's ministry, caregiving ministry, and the sanctuary choir. On January 14, 2015, Cassandra and Chauncy became proud grandparents of one grandson, Noah George.

Cassandra was preceded in death by her father, Foster Thomas.

Cassandra leaves to cherish her memory; husband Chauncy, daughter Eilcia, and grandson Noah, mother, Patricia Thomas; sister, Cordelia Thompson; nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and other relatives and friends to cherish her life.
