That’s how we put it down when we made trips together. A coworker who I had the honor to make many trips together riding trains on the South End, also 
known as the Rio Grande Division our of Fort Worth.
What a great tribute in a short video that I’m sure is no comparison of the great life you gave to family and friends outside of the Railroad.
I retired early from the Railroad but will never forget the great brotherhood that I and you were a part of. Moments of life all put together will never exceed the place we call Heaven, all mainline for you now.
We all hope to join you someday 
Not with the watch that we used over and over keeping the time of trains starting and stopping, we’re going off of Gods time, his timing is perfect and I know family and friends would have liked more time with you but God brought you home to his terminal, Heavens gate was ready for you, Jesus there to greet you! Praise God!! You’re one of many that’s gotten to finalize that old time slip we filled out to receive our pay, now God has received you and your life’s work is done here on Earth.
Rest easy my friend, you’ve run the race and stayed the course.
Thoughts and prayers going out to your family and the many friends who will miss you,  but also remember you from work and away.

For 81 years Cecil brought love, joy, and lots of laughs to our family. He was born on a farm in Palestine and grew up to become an engineer and educator. Cecil liked to have a good time, and he always made sure to take care of home. He was a committed husband and loving brother. As a matter of fact, Cecil was the baby. He was the youngest of five, and  somehow he was the glue that held us all together. I will miss hearing your voice and receiving your advice, even when it was unsolicited. Rest peacefully in God’s hands, and I will meet you in heaven.

Cecil and Bernnie welcomed us as neighbors before we moved in. That made Ted and I feel that we really belonged in the neighborhood. Cecil was a person that was always available to help us whenever we needed him or just wanted company. He and Ted became good friends, and horse playing buddies. To know Cecil was to know he love his family dearly, from selling Girl Scout cookies, giving out Des’ CDs, bragging on Phyllis and all the grands and great-grands, or talking about what he was going to buy Bernice, those were the things that made him smile. He never failed to call if I was not on time with the papers to give out at the church. If we needed him he would answer or he would come. We will all truly miss him and I will always be a phone call away for you all.  We were blessed to have known him. Love You, From Rhonda Pruitt and Family

Dad,

God needed you more than us but thank you for leaving me parts of you. Others may not understand but God has a plan, we shall continue the Jackson legacy.

My dad was the backbone of our family.  He took the role of being a dad with all his heart, body and soul without any complaints. Now, that was love  Not only did he care for the family, he showed love to his friends, in-laws and anyone he came in contact with. He didn't meet a stranger no matter where he was. The hole is so big at this time but we will close it gradually because that's the way we were taught. I thank God for allowing me to experience that type of love on this earth.
