Charles Richard Cato, 78, passed into the presence of our Lord September 24, 2016. Charles was born June 20, 1938. He was pastor of Westside Full Gospel Church in White Settlement for 16 years. He retired from Sheet and Metal Union Local 68 after 25 years, and retired from Lockheed Martin. Richard had a passion for the Word of God and telling others about the love of Jesus. You may see a stray napkin or styrofoam cup laying around with his signature drawings and words of encouragement that he always left behind. Richard was preceded in death by his mother Ollie Mae Warton and father George Hillery Cato; brothers, Alvie Lee, James, and Harvey Cato. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Linda Cato; children, Wayne Cato, Charlean Beayrd, Janette Cato, Lynette Baggarly, and Randy Cato; sister Mary Francis Duckworth; 3 son-in-laws; 2 daughter-in-laws; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
