Chuck, as he was affectionately known, was a source of joy in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. The family will remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Chuck is survived by his greatest joys in the world, his sons Charles Dylan and Michael Conner Docekal. He is also survived by his loving mother, Patricia Conner, brother Andrew, sisters Constance, Sheralyn, Paula, and Ginger, sister-in-law Ruth, brothers-in-law Ben, Randy, Robin, and Bob, and a host of nieces/nephews who all will cherish the years and memories they had with Chuck.
After his graduation from Texas A&M University in Accounting, Chuck embarked on a life filled with family, faith, and his great love of the outdoors. Chuck was an avid outdoorsman and took great joy in passing this passion down to his sons. From hunting to fishing to diving and camping, Chuck always found great peace and connection in the outdoors with his boys.
Those who knew Chuck will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, his deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and his commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
The Celebration of Life service to honor the life of Charles Michael Docekal will be held on November 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament Church at 2100 N Davis Drive, Arlington TX 76011. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Mission Arlington.
Although Chuck's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. As you continue to worship Jesus up there, dear Chuck, your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
