

Chris was born in May 1947 to Earl and Beatrice Edwards in Manhattan Kansas. He graduated from Everman High School and continued his education at Weatherford College, where he met the love of his life, Faye Melson. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, in both active duty and reserves, from 1967 to 1973. Chris had a natural talent for all things mechanical and electrical and shared his knowledge with others. He retired with 36 years from AT&T. He cherished volunteering for over 25 years with his wife and daughter in the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, considered a second dad by numerous young ladies. Chris was a Past Worshipful Master of Burleson Masonic Lodge #649. He pursued his dream of restoring a 1973 Triumph sports car. Chris loved his wife and daughter beyond compare and he will be remembered as a man who cherished every moment with his family. He gave so freely and humbly of himself in a selfless and kind demeanor. Chris will join his parents in Heaven.
Survivors: loving wife of 47 years, Faye Edwards, daughter Jennifer Becan and husband Bryan of Burleson, sister, Connie Covino and husband Michael and their children Leo and Lina of Santa Paula, CA.
