Service: 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: 1 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth.
Charles was born May 31, 1939, in Jacksonville, Fla., to Reece Sutton and Lillie Mae Morgan. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in September 1956 and retired from the Air Force in September 1982. After retiring from the military, He went to work for the U.S. Postal Service, then retired again in 2001.
Survivors: Wife, Girlie Sutton; son, Eric Sutton and wife, Jackie Sutton; daughter, Melissa Norman; son, Cedric Sutton; grandchildren, Porche'a M. Lowrey, Zavier J. Sutton and Cameron Norman; several siblings; nieces and nephews.
