Chris was born in Fort Worth at Harris Hospital downtown to his father Phil and mother Cheryl. He loved his mother dearly throughout his life and has grieved her acutely since her passing. He was raised in Fort Worth and had many wonderful adventures with his brothers and close friends in his childhood and young adult years. His great grandmother and great grandfather Huse, whom the whole community simply called “Mom” and “Dad”, doted on Christian and he spent many weekends of his childhood visiting them in Rhome, Texas. He spoke fondly and often about them and his visits there.
Christian was very artistic and attended the Art Institute in both Dallas and Chicago. He graduated from cosmetology school in Kansas City, Kansas and became a top-notch hair stylist until his anxiety disorder precluded him from continuing. Chris worked at several different jobs over the years, one of his favorites was being an associate at Petco. Chris loved animals of all types, shapes and sizes, and was the proud owner of several kittens at the time of his passing.
Chris never married and had no children, but he loved Niki Fritz and had been her companion for many years.
Christian was a prolific writer, he wrote down his thoughts, his aspirations, his frustrations, his hopes for the future and his thoughts on God and religion in his journals.
Chris had a hard life, but he loved his life. He was always friendly, never spiteful, always grateful and always forgiving. Christian had a sweet spirit possessed by few and will forever be missed by his family and loved ones.
Christian was preceded in death by his mother Cheryl Lynn (Wymer) Tinsley.
