Claudia was born in Pensacola, Florida on July 12, 1927. Claudia graduated from Florida A & M College and received a Bachelor or Arts degree in Education. Claudia had a career in teaching for over 50 years. During her tenure she taught in Florida, Michigan, and Texas. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and Charms Incorporated.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Arthur and Willie Mae Jones, brother, Clifton Celestine, and sisters, Marjorie Browning and Lorraine Morgan.
She is survived by nieces, Francina Browning and Debbie Saki of Vancouver, Washington, nephew Carl Morgan (Shelia) of Fort Worth, Texas, great-nephew, Jeffrey Morgan (Monica) of Garland, Texas, great-niece Parisa Saki of Vancouver, Washington, great-niece Tabitha Kim (Matthew) of San Antonio, Texas, and great-great nieces and nephews Ava Morgan, Ben Morgan, Charlie Kim, and Dylan Kim.
