Clyde was born April 21, 1935, in Muenster, to Matthew and Angeline Muller. He was blessed with a very large and close-knit family with many brothers and sisters. Clyde married Helen Hacker of Muenster on June 25, 1960. They moved to Bedford in 1967 where they raised their four children. Clyde retired from Menasco in 1997 after 30 years as a lab technician. Clyde was blessed to have the love and friendship of his fiancee, Gloria Becker of Muenster, for the past 15 years. Clyde loved to fish, hunt, camp and play the German card game Sheepshead with his brothers and sisters. Mostly, he loved spending time with all of his family and Gloria's family, including children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His first great-grandson was born in May of this year. Clyde was a regular at all of his grandchildren's school and sporting activities. He was so much fun to be with that all of his grandkids' friends enjoyed having him around and even nicknamed him "Old Salt."
He loved every minute of every day and never met a stranger. He lived his life as the best example of how we should live and care for each other and he will be missed every single day.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Helen Muller, in 1995.
Survivors: There are so many friends who would consider Clyde part of their family. His survivors include Gloria Becker and family of Muenster. Clyde has one son, Dale Muller of Alvarado, as well as three daughters, Debbie and David Lain, Vickie and Monty Brouse, and Renee and Scott Hoffman, all of North Richland Hills. He was blessed with six grandsons, six granddaughters and one great-grandson. He is also survived by two sisters, a brother and many generations of nieces and nephews.
