

Born on April 26, 1941, in Quincy, Illinois, Cora was the daughter of Albert and Cora Ihlow. She graduated from Trimble Tech High School and went on to dedicate over 40 years of her life to serving children and the community through her work in the Fort Worth ISD cafeteria system.
A proud and devoted lifetime member of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, Cora’s faith guided her every step. She lived her life with a loving and caring heart, always willing to help and care for others, especially those who were sick or in need. Cora had a special gift for making everyone feel welcomed; she truly never met a stranger. Her joyful spirit and warm smile made her a beloved “social butterfly” to all who knew her.
Cora found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially working on puzzles and spending time with her ever-growing family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wesley Wells; her parents, Albert Blumenthal and Cora Ihlow; and her brothers, Mick and Norman.
She leaves behind her children: Cora, Donna, and Joel Ann; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were deeply touched by her presence.
Cora Wells will be remembered for her unwavering generosity, her faith-filled heart, and the joy she brought into the lives of others. She touched countless hearts and leaves behind a family and community forever grateful for the time they shared with her.
