Cynthia Weathersby

Cynthia Charlette Weathersby was the first child born to the parentage of Charlie and Vernell Weathersby, January 5, 1963.

At an early age, Cynthia confessed her hope in Christ, joined and was baptized at Greater Rising Star Baptist church, under the leadership of Pastor S.E. Adkins.

Cynthia matriculated through the Everman ISD system and graduated in the class of 1981. Upon graduation, she attended Texas Wesleyan University, earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree. She had a desire to serve her country and joined the United States Air Force. While serving, she earned her Master’s Degree in San Bernardino, CA. After exiting the Air Force, Cynthia secured a job with San Bernardino ISD, serving in the capacity of School Counselor. Upon retirement, she moved back to Fort Worth and remained until God called her from labor to reward.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her precious memories, her parents, Charlie & Vernell Weathersby; one sister Carla Johnson (Michael); one brother, Christopher Weathersby; one nephew, Donte X Taylor (Trishana); 2 nieces, Carmen Weathersby, Jordaan Burston; eight great nieces and nephews, Lauryn, Leilani, Na’Ziyah, Donte Jr, Kyland, Dylan, Dakota, Jacob; three aunts, Carolyn Newhouse, Lakica Williams (Billy), Lavadia Barnes, one uncle Richard Harris; Great Aunt and Uncle, Aunt Vert Franklin, (oldest aunt 103), Marion Sheppard Jr.(Emma), (oldest uncle, 90) and; a host of cousins and friends; Counselor, Rev. Cleophus Ervin.
