Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Chapel of the Chimes in Fort Worth. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the Chapel of Chimes.
David was born Oct. 13, 1924, to David and Mary Reba Gorman Sr. in Cisco. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After completion of his service in the military, he came home and went to work for Humble Oil Company for the better part of 40 years.
In his leisure, David enjoyed going to the lake, fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He has been reunited with his loving wife of 61 years and his parents.
Survivors: David has left behind his memory with his sons, Rodney Gorman (Sheri), David Gorman (Jeanne); daughters, Debbie Thomas and Becky Cosgrove; grandchildren, James, Amie, Keely, Sean, Matthew, Jamie, Rachel; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Zack, Jessica, Gary, Jake, Gabriel, Tinsley; great-great- grandchildren, Tyson and Claire; sister, Betty Ham; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
