

David Leroy Newman was born on September 28th, 1955, in Wilson, Oklahoma to the parents of Otis and Winnie Newman. He passed away after a short illness of COVID. David married the love of his life, Debby Newman on September 20th, 1975. They enjoyed life together for 48 years and loved doing things together as a couple. They loved to bowl and that was something he was always proud of and shared. One of his greatest accomplishments was being inducted into the ABC Hall of Fame for bowling a perfect 300 game. He also loved attending and watching NASCAR races. David was a handyman and loved fixing and making things for his family and friends.
In the last years of his life, he and Debby retired to East Texas on Lake Bob Sandlin. They both loved to fish and were always hunting for that BIG bass. In his spare time, he loved to watch his granddaughter play softball, he also enjoyed watching westerns, fishing, and wrestling. He loved to go on cruises and always look forward to learning all the new things his grandson Tyler was accomplishing in life. David also looked forward to spending time with family during the holidays.
David is proceeded in death by his parents, sister Noella, brothers Troy, Kenneth, James, and Richard, nephew Christopher Dronso and niece Kelsey Irwin.
David is survived by his wife Debby Newman, daughter Tabetha Newman and Mike Bradley, Leslie and her husband Daniel Medrano, grandchildren Tyler Sallee and Madison Shipman, and Kaylee Sallee. Along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. And many more family, and friends that loved David dearly.
