We will always have fond memories of our times spent with David. I remember the first time I met David in algebra class. He helped me through algebra. I am the one that gave David Carolyn’s locker number in high school. That was the beginning of a romance that lasted for more than 57 years. David and Carolyn were the model married couple. We have been friends all these years. Herb and I will miss David but we know we will see him in Heaven

David was a fine student and used his personality to help both new and matured students adjust to academic life at University of Texas Tyler.  Often he could found chatting in the university center.  Both professors and students set up managing programs with his guidance.  His periodic return visits to Tyler were a welcome event for his former classmates and professors.  As my financial manager and personal friend he will be sorely missed.

David was like a brother to us, as well as a special friend for over 50 years. We could always count on him to be there for us.
We have so many wonderful memories of David and you, especially our great times in Colorado. We also enjoyed sharing so many holidays together.
We will miss David but he will always remain close to our hearts.

My heart goes out to you !  Although we didn’t spend a lot of time with you or David ( except at BRCC functions), I know he was a kind soul , with such a warm smile all the time.  And we know he was loved by many.  May the warmth of family and close friends provide you with the support and hugs you’ll need.

Tina and I are so sorry to hear about the loss of David.  We as some of his office neighbors will sure miss him.  We send big prayers and hugs to Ms. Carolyn and his entire family.

I really loved both you and David so much. You have both helped my sister, Sue so much which I will be eternally grateful for. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. My prayer is that God will give you comfort and peace which only He can give. You and I would not be able to survive difficult times like this without the knowledge  of knowing that we will see our loved ones again when we go to meet our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You and David have been on our prayer list at my church and all of us in my church will continually keep you in our prayers. God bless you and comfort you. We love you and you are our sister in Christ.

I have so many wonderful memories of David and how he always called me Shelley Belle.  I loved spending time with y’all because you were so sweet to me and loved me like I was family.  Y’all have always been more like and aunt and an uncle to me.  I am so sad that I’ll never see David again this side of heaven, but the apostle Paul reminds us that though we grieve, we don’t grieve as those who have no hope.  We will see all our loved ones who are in Christ again someday.  That is our great comfort and hope.  I look forward to seeing his big ole smile again someday.

So many sweet memories of you  both. 
One of my favorite memories is spending the weekend in San Diego as a very young child. 
David you were so proud of your new hot rod. 

I know you and my Uncle Raymond are kicking it together right now.  You will always be precious to me. I will never forget how gentle and kind you always were to me.  I will miss you.
