Delano Arville Doss

Service: 7 p.m. Tuesday, Wedgwood Baptist Church, 5522 Whitman Ave. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Del was born March 27, 1933, to Orville and Sylvia Doss in Joplin, Mo., where he lived and married Virginia McKinney in August 1953. They were married 61 years before her death. He served in the Army, received his bachelor's degree and master's degree in electrical engineering. His love for Jesus led him to serve Beautiful Feet Ministries for 23-plus years. His desire was for everyone to know that Jesus loves them and He can change their life.

Del was preceded in death by his wife, parents and one brother.

Survivors: Son, Les Doss and wife, Karen; daughter, Terry Lynn Moore and husband, J.D.; grandchildren, Eric Doss, Kevin Doss and wife, Nicole, Stephanie Moore and John David Jr., Courtney Powell and husband, Matt; great-grandchildren, Julianne and Warner Doss; a host of extended family; and many dear friends.
