Delbert Artemio Gonzalez

Delbert was born in Corpus Christi, Tx on Jan 24, 1954. He graduated from Mary Carroll High School and received a Business degree from Finance. Delbert retired after 32 years from the banking business and was also a member of CCYFL for 15 years.

He lived life for his wife, daughter, and grandsons, Albert, Anthony, Aiden, and Rodney. He was extremely proud of his boys achievements, Texas A&M became his new favorite college. He loved spoiling his family, playing pranks, and spending time with them. He never missed a baseball game. He was always cheering for his grandsons. He loved music, cooking, fishing, hunting, and of course football. OH THOSE COWBOYS!

Delbert is preceded in death by his parents Artemio Garza Gonzalez and Olivia Torres Leal; and baby, Chris Gonzalez.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Bertha Cynthia Garza; daughter, Cynthia Rose Gonzalez (Timothy Morris); grandchildren, Albert Artemio Juarez, Anthony Aric Juarez, Aiden Andrew Juarez, and Rodney Alexander Snodgrass; sisters, Catherine Perez, and Patricia F. Manzano; and brother, Fred Gonzalez (Amy); sisters in law, Alicia Garza, Alma Obregon (Ross), Dalia Terry (Ed), Amy Payne (Bob), Irma Moulton (George); brothers in law, Samuel Garza (Liza), Jesse Garza; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is already greatly missed.
