He served his country both in the Navy and retiring 20 years from the Coast Guard. He also retired from the Tarrant County Sheriffs Dept.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Anita of 37 years, and daughters Brenda and Belinda and nine siblings and parents.
He leaves behind his wife of 27 years Sandra, son Dewey J, daughter Debra, and step children; Kathy, Dennise, David, Danny and Michael.
Burial will be at DFW National Cemetery at a later date.
