Ms. Dionne Waddell

On December 17, 1966, Dionne D. Waddell was born to the parentage or Frank and Gwendolyn Waddell in Fort Worth, Texas. Dionne attended the Fort Worth Independent School District and was a graduate of Western Hills High School, Class of 1985.

Dionne was an angle on Earth. She was a hard worker, outstanding mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. Dionne love to help whoever came her way. She was the Manager over the Bakery at Kroger for 18 years. Dionne accepted Christ at an early age and loved the Lord and would share the gospel to everyone. Dionne served in the Media Ministry at the Holy Tabernacle Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Robert Sample.

Dionne loved her family. She loved going on family trips with the ones she loved. Baking and decorating cakes with her grandchildren was her favorite thing to do. She enjoyed having movie nights with her daughters and grandbabies. She was always laughing and joking with her sisters. She really enjoyed any and everything that had to do with her family.

On November 25, 2020, God saw fit to allow the sweet Chariot to swing low and carry Dionne from labor to reward. She is preceded in death by her brother, Frank Waddell, Jr. Those that are left to cherish her fond and precious memories are her children, Courtney Waddell, Christin Waddell and Coree Mize (Jeremy); her mother Gwendolyn Waddell; father, Frank Waddell, Sr.; sisters, Tracy Green and Christie Calhoun; niece, Chazmine Waddell; grandchildren, Michalia Lenear (Love Bug), Jeremy Jr., Stevee Mize and a host of other relatives and friends.
