Toppy Cochran, née Dolores Catherine Nipp, has passed away at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe Fletcher Cochran, her parents, John Verner Nipp and Geraldine Noel Nipp, her sister, Claire Noel Nipp and her brother Gerald Nipp. She is survived by her brother Jack Nipp, 5 children, John Kenneth Cochran, James William Cochran, Helen Pemberton, Joe Stephen Cochran and Linda Ashe, 5 grandchildren,10 great grandchildren and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Toppy and Joe were active in the Tarrant County Archeological Society and the Fort Worth Model T Club . At the age of 84, following her second stroke, Toppy took up painting for rehabilitation and discovered a talent that served her through the rest of her life. She was given an exhibit at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art for which she was very grateful, Funeral service will be on Friday, March 11, 10:00 a.m. at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Fort Worth.
