

Beloved mother and grandmother Donna Beth Stovall, 80, of Watauga, Texas, was called home by our Heavenly Father on February 14, 2024. Family was the center of Donna’s life. She is mourned by her children Fred Stovall and wife Genevieve, Jennifer Crawford and husband James, Sean Stovall and wife Jennifer, and Adam Stovall and wife Emily. Donna treasured her grandchildren Jamison Crawford, Ethan Stovall, Savannah Stovall, Reagan Stovall, Keira Stovall, Callie Stovall and Harper Stovall. She was preceded in death by her grandson Jacob Crawford.
Donna loved her furry family members. For the last six years, her constant companion was her Chihuahua Minnie. She also cared for her cats Christian and Lindy Lou.
Donna’s great passions were children and art. She combined her passions for both as an elementary art teacher as Hurst Hills Elementary School in Hurst, Texas. After devoting over 20 years raising her children, Donna enrolled at Texas Woman’s University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She shared her love for art with young students at Hurst Hills for her entire teaching career, retiring in 2013. After her retirement, Donna continued to care for children by providing after school care to students at Meadowcreek Elementary School in Bedford, Texas until 2020. In her younger years, Donna painted frequently, sharing her original works with friends and family. She also gave private lessons to aspiring artists.
Donna was born on September 22, 1943 in Ada, Oklahoma to Tyson and Geraldine Farris, both deceased. Donna spent her childhood in Ada and Irving, Texas, graduating from Irving High School in 1962. During high school, she performed as a member of the Toy Tigers drill team.
In addition to her children and grandchildren, Donna is survived by six siblings, seven nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. Her immediate family includes her sister Karen Delmonico and her sons Steve and Nick, sister Jan Morgan, her daughter April, and April’s children Hali, Kayla and Autumn, sister Patsy Kirkpatrick and her son Colin, sister Betsy Farris, brother Neal Farris, wife Pati and daughters Ty and Quincy, and brother Gerald, wife Karen and daughter Sydney. During the last year, Donna was blessed by the care and companionship provided by Regina Machingura.
Donna’s life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on April 6, 2024 at Life Connection Church, 208 Nutmeg Lane, Euless, Texas 76039. Her remains will be interred in a private ceremony at Haley Memorial Cemetery in Irving, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Donna’s honor to the Humane Society of North Texas (hsnt.org) or the Kimbell Art Museum of Fort Worth, Texas (kimbellart.org).
