Dorothy Jean Doughty

Dorothy was born in Eckert, Texas on February 8, 1948 to Elbert and Almarene Farris. She married the love of her life, James Roy Doughty, on December 24, 1963. They had three children: Ronny Waynne Doughty, James Darrell Doughty, and Dana Renea Doughty-Pollard. They resided in White Settlement, Texas until the death of James Roy.

She had a deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy will always be remembered for her kind, loving heart and her immense love of family. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Dorothy was preceded in death by both her parents; her husband of 40 years, James Roy, along with her brother and two sisters.Her surviving family includes: her brother, Joe Farris of Brownwood, TX, sons: Ronny Doughty and Darrell Doughty of Ft. Worth, TX. One daughter: Dana and husband Jeff Pollard of Lawton, OK. Grandchildren: Trey Hines of Bedford, TX, James Dylan and wife Katie Doughty of Gainesville, TX, Ashley Pollard of Lawton, OK, Brooke and husband Conner Sullivan of Lawton, OK, Kristen Pollard of Lawton, OK, Cayden Doughty and Spencer Doughty of Ft. Worth, TX. Great-grandchildren: Millie and Waylon Sullivan of Lawton, OK, and Rylan Doughty of Gainesville, TX.
