Douglas was born in Massachesetts to Robert and Joan Cusson on June 19, 1961. He joined the Navy on Jan. 4, 1980. He served on board the USS McCandless and the USS Kincaid before retiring March 31, 2000. He married Deborah Weber on May 17, 1980. Douglas was a longtime member of Covenant Life Church. He loved all things racing, including NASCAR and motorcycles. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors: Wife of 34 years, Deborah Cusson; daughter, Amanda Cusson; son, Zachary Cusson; granddaughter, Brooke Cusson; sisters, Michelle Lavallee and Cyndi Martin; brother, Jay Cusson; step brother; William Rabideau, sisters-in-law, Kim Czerniawski, Cheryl Weber and Christine Haas; brothers-in-law, John Weber, John Czerniawski and Kurt Meehan; father-in-law, Harvey Weber; and many other family members and friends.
