Drucie was born in Fort Worth on June 1, 1924, to Roy and Ola Burge. She graduated from Polytechnic High School and worked for Boswell Dairies in accounting. In her retirement years, she spent time helping at Burge Hardware that was founded in 1913 by her father and she volunteered at Poly Methodist Church of which she was a member since 1937. She and her husband enjoyed playing bridge with a close group of married couples for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Claude Bonham; brothers, Jack A. Burge, William Paul Burge and Dr. Vernon Eugene Burge.
Survivors: She is survived by son, Philip Bonham of North Richland Hills; daughter, Marianne Soda of California; son, Stephen Bonham of Arlington; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
