Earsie Greenwood Jr.

Earsie affectionately known as Boopie was born in Little Rock, Arkansas September 2, 1957 to Earsie Greenwood and Rosetta Pitts.

Earsie received his education in the Little Rock Public School system and graduated from North Little Rock’s Ole Main High School. Over the years he worked as a Cook and surgical technician.

Earsie moved to Fort Worth in 2006 where he met and married his Pumpkin, Karen (Spencer) in May of 2013. Earsie loved going to horse races and most importantly watching the Green Bay Packers. On game days he would put on his jersey and sit in the living room in Green Bay Packer attire and could be heard yelling thru the entire house. Two things Earsie loved unconditionally was his mother and the Packers.

Earsie was predeceased by both parents Earsie and Rosetta; sister Karen Denise (Greenwood) Williams; father in law Sidney C Spencer who he loved to visit.

Earsie is survived by his wife Karen Denise Greenwood; children Derrick Greenwood, Daniel Greenwood, Christopher Greenwood and Christina Maine; stepdaughters Rickael Johnson and Sydney Reynolds; son in law Hillard Johnson Sr; his grandchildren; siblings Jerome Greenwood, Kenneth Greenwood, Muhammad Rasheed, Randy Johnson, Tommy Patrick (bonus brother), Rossillin Patrick, Mortise Robinson, Leah Nathaniel and Lisa Muldrow; mother in law Gloretta Nash whom he lovingly called Ms. G; plus nieces, nephews and extended family.
