
FORT WORTH -- Edgar "Ed" Dale Needham, 88, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Service: 12:30 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Grace Hospice, 4100 International Plaza #140, Fort Worth, Texas 76109; or Arborlawn United Methodist Church. Ed Needham was born Sept. 1, 1926, to Marvin and Bobbie Needham. Raised on the north side of Fort Worth, he graduated from North Side High School and served in the Navy during World War II. Ed worked with his brothers in the walk-in cooler business. Later he established his own company, Ed Needham Refrigeration. One of his greatest sources of enjoyment came from entertaining family and friends at his home. He enjoyed golf, dancing and a game of 42. He appreciated his time spent going to Bible Study Fellowship and his Sunday school class. Thank-you to the group of very caring caregivers who gave loving support to Ed during his time of need. He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers; three sisters; and Bill and Johnnie Casstevens. Survivors: His loving wife, Florence Needham; daughters, Angela Brown (Craig), Stephanie Stafford, Pam Artmier (Russ); daughters through love, Terri Carter and Joy Tyner; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many loving family and friends.
