Lady, 84 years of age, of Everman, Texas passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025.
She was born on January 22,1941 in Athens, Texas to Bertha Thompson and Jeffie Daniels. Lady grew up in Athens, Texas and attended Mt Providence Baptist Church where she professed her faith in Christ at an early age.
At the age of 40, Lady married Constance Tolbert May 26,1981, who preceded her in death, on April 18, 2006. Sometime afterwards, she joined in the fellowship at The New Mt Providence Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor C. A. Noel.
Lady had a special gift—a heart that seemed to have endless room for children. Whether it was through family, friends, or babysitting for others, Lady made every child feel seen, valued, and loved. She gave her time, energy, and talent to nurture young hearts, guiding them with kindness and patience. She lived a life overflowing with compassion, generosity, joy and a lot of fun. Those who knew her will remember her warm smile, gentle wisdom, and the way she could turn even the smallest moment into a lesson of love. Her legacy lives in the countless lives she touched and in the seeds of kindness she planted in the hearts of the next generation.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter whom she raised from age 12, Willa Milligan of Burleson Texas, Son, Michael Rhinehart of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren Renee Wilborn (Shawn), Tiffany Hill (Montrell), Ashley Milligan, Decarlos Tolbert, Deshunda Jackson, Courtney Johnson (Roosevelt), Mike Rhinehart Jr, and Xavier Rhinehart; 15 great grands, 3 great- great grands, two nieces Sonia Yarborough (Terrance) and Brianna Nobles (Kimberly), God daughter Joyce Powell (Leroy) of Lewisville, Texas and many more relatives and friends.
Lady was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Mora Nobles, and a brother Bennie Abrams. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we rejoice knowing Lady’s Godly love for children and family will continue to be experienced by the lives she inspired.
