I have so many memories that I could write a book. I can truly say that since about 1980 every time that I saw her we had a few laughs. I would always make her show those dimples no matter what was going on. You could always talk to her about almost anything and I will never forget her smile and her friendly demeanor.

To my little sisters Muffin and Dylena and brother Randy stay strong, never forget the wisdom that she gave you and you will see her again.

I moved to Texas over 20 years ago . Muffin was my dear neighbor whenever Ms Eileen would come over she always spoke and had a smile on her face. When Muffin had Randolph my husband and I were the first ones she called . She wasn’t to much bigger than that big Beautiful baby Boy .She was so proud and I was so honored to be allowed to share her joy with her. She will be missed a wonderful Angel . Our Condolences to the family .

My sister-in-law, my friend I will miss you. Every time I see a Volvo, I think of you and the laughs we had about that car. You always made sure you knew when the Rainwater Reunion was so you could be there. Your smile and laugh was contagious, You put up a good fight now you can rest in peace up in heaven. You are forever and always in my heart.

Eileen and I are first cousins. Her mother Permilla Porter Woods and my father Robert Lee Porter are brother and sister. I use are instead of were because even though they have made that eternal transition, they still have the same relativity. Eileen and I did not communicate with each other everyday, every month or every year, but when we did communicate it was full of love, encouragement, laughter and reminiscing. My fondest thoughts of Eileen is during our high school years. She was a majorette at Dunbar High School in Lubbock, Tx and I was in the band at Carver Jr. Sr. High School in Midland, Tx. When Dunbar would be the visiting team during our homecoming and participate in our homecoming parade it would make me proud to tell everyone that the girl out front prancing and twirling her baton was my cousin. She was the best majorette of her time. Eileen, rest in peace until that day that Jesus Christ returns to take us back to that place that He went to prepare for us. Love you Vanona and family.

I remember when Ms Austin was my babysitter, and momma Eileen would see me across the street and tell me how cute I was. She always made me feel like I was on top of the world, even when I got grown! I love you guys and you are in my prayers 😘🙏

Miss Miller was an amazing person. She had a beautiful spirit and would always call me her daughter. I looked to her as a mother figure and I’ve been inseparable from her since we’ve meet.
I remember her latest birthday party when she got off the elevator jumping up and down like a 20 year old. That day made her children proud that they were able to provide that for her. Love for ever.... RIH
