Survived by her 4 children, Deborah Allison, David Stetson, Daniel Stetson, and Tamera Dearing. Married in 1950 to Robert Stetson for 49 years until his passing in 1999. Elaine's husband served in the Air Force for 22 years and they traveled to many places throughout that time. Stationed in Arizona, Newfoundland, and Maryland. Also stationed in Libya, Africa for 2 years at which time they were able to visit Spain and Malta. Once retired from the Air Force, our family settled in Fort Worth, Texas.
Once Elaine and Bob retired, they traveled throughout the US and Canada before moving down to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. Upon Bob's passing, Elaine continued to travel between Crowley and the valley, spending her winters in the valley with her many close friends and her summers in Crowley with her daughters, Deborah and Tamera. Elaine made several trips including one to Greece and Turkey and a two-week cruise through the Panama Canal. She loved gardening and wildlife, especially the many hummingbirds that visited her feeders. Elaine touched many lives in her 95 years of life and was loved by many people who knew how special she was and will be missed by all.
